MRAC Labs today launch Symbolic Composer 6.1 Mac Intel. The update is recommended for all users and includes improvements to usability and stability including:
- blazing speed desktop
- inline evaluation
- terminal blocking
- breakable processes
- integrated web-browser
- scom-community interaction
Symbolic Composer 6.1 is one of the largest high-level music language available, and it is context-free, which means it suits in any styles.
This update includes improvements to usability and stability. Desktop loads at blazing speed, and evaluation is error free. According to MRAC Publishing tests, SCOM 6.1 now handles even the most complex scoces in just few seconds. Blazing Speed also restores the windows in th original order almost instantly and includes more control on evaluation, and uses now full OSX multitasking, which smooths up the operation.
SCOM 6.1 now integrates 2000’s techno-movement with 1900’s spirit of contemporay composing using the same futuristic attitude. Its libraries cover fingerprints of Stockhausen, Schoenberg, Messian and the other masters, together with the lastest European techno trends.
Music is universal language, and SCOM covers that all. Just follow your own style and pick up an algorithm from its vast libraries and have a go.
Under the hood is SCOM & MRAC with over 1000 algorithms, that model 500 years of tradition. On the top there are light-years ahead developments based on fractals, physics, math and AI.
Even NASA sunspot and solar wind measurements can now be rendered as music with SCOM – in realtime.
“It is more fun to SCOM, since my hand-play skills lack the imagination of my dreams and compositional mind-play. On the SCOM I can freely express myself”, developer and composer Peter Stone says.
Just as SCOM continues to expand the algorithms of composing, we also pay attention to the working environment. This is the release for a user, that has been searching for a stable music composition system on the OS X platform.
