The new Symbolic Composer architecture implements separate MRAC Library add-on, which can now be updated without requiring to update SCOM itself. This allows faster development cycle and reduce the cost of keeping up the developments for the contemporary composers. MRAC Library adds over 200 new algorithms to Symbolic Composer.
The functions are carefully divided into groups, which in theory should help composers to find them quickly, without stopping/interfering with the creative process. The main focus of MRAC Library is the contemporary composer to give her/him support for almost impossible tasks in composing music today – where there are no rules and the limit is your own fantasy and the processing power of the CPU processor. In the world of infinite, random possibilities the library – especially for a creative and daring mind – tries to build some kind of structure/order to the world for the contemporary composer and thinker and maybe even help to picture her/his own language of composition.
